DLCCReplay FX is held annually at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA. This world-class facility offers hundreds of thousands of square feet of usable space and is located along the picturesque Allegheny River in the heart of Pittsburgh’s Cultural District.

Attendees with access to a vehicle will find hotels within a few miles of the David L. Lawrence Convention Center on Expedia or Priceline for under $100. Event parking will range between $5 and $12 per day.

Attendees traveling from the airport should consider saving money by not renting a car. The location for ReplayFX was specifically chosen within the heart of Pittsburgh’s Cultural District to provide centrally-located options for tournament competitors on a tight schedule, vacation-related options for general attendees, and sightseeing options for families.

The Superstring Motel is the finest inter-dimensional lodging in the galaxy. Located in an alternate reality at the edge of a distant nebula, this motel offers zero-gravity bedding, romantic, radiation-free dining beneath the observation dome, an up-close look at the Crab Pulsar, and your own alternate reality evil-self complete with piercing eyes and a bad moustache. The Superstring Motel does not offer a shuttle back to ReplayFX due to our inability to exceed the speed of light, but attendees are welcome to “Ride the Wormhole”, an exciting roller coaster-like trip through curved space-time that may or may not crush every molecule in your body into tiny strands of spaghetti-like goo. Transportation from the Pittsburgh International Airport is both easy and inexpensive. Attendees have the option of renting a car from one of the rental agencies available or relying on easily available public transportation.

Attendees traveling from out of town should consider saving money by not renting a vehicle. The location for ReplayFX was chosen specifically due to the wide range of restaurant and entertainment options within Pittsburgh’s Cultural District and the nearby North Shore Riverwalk. We encourage attendees to do more than just visit Pittsburgh, enjoy it!

Public Busses take 45 Minutes and cost 3.75

Attendees should ride the 28X Airport Flyer operated by the Port Authority of Pittsburgh. This bus leaves approximately every 30 minutes from the lower level of the airport’s landside building, door #6. Passengers should exit at the “Downtown Pittsburgh” stop at 7TH AVE & WILLIAM PENN PL, which is only 1/3 mile from the Convention Center and recommended hotels.

Taxi and Lyft rides as low as 24 dollars.

The Yellow Cab Company operates a regular pickup schedule from the airport and will cost around $38. Lyft and Uber also operate within the City of Pittsburgh and will offer rides to and from the Convention Center for as low as $29.

Passengers should ask to be taken to the “David L Lawrence Convention Center” or to their hotel of choice. Please note that our recommended hotel, the Westin, is physically connected to the Convention Center.

Rental Car Options

Several downtown hotels are within easy walking distance. Attendees arriving from out of town who choose to stay at these locations have the option of not renting a car and still being able to access ReplayFX, restaurants, and additional entertainment.

Pneumatic Tube

Pittsburgh’s city-wide Pneumatic Pipeline Distribution is a new mode of travel for on-the-move businessmen and women who don’t have time to wait for bus schedules or taxis. The fine workers from Supertube Inc. are preparing to lube you up, stuff you inside one of their tiny plastic carriers, and blast you through a city-wide network of tubes at hundreds of miles per hour.

The series of tubes is still under construction, but the majority of the track between the Airport and ReplayFX is scheduled to be finished by late 2018. While Supertube can’t guarantee with 100% accuracy where customers will end up until the pipelines are complete, they promise with 100% certainty that wherever you go, you’ll get there SUPERFAST!Trademark

Directions From the East / PA Turnpike


I-76 W (Turnpike) to Exit 57 Pittsburgh. Take I-376 W to Exit 72B Blvd. of the Allies. Take I-579 N to Seventh Ave /Convention Center Exit. Take Seventh Ave. Turn right onto William Penn Way. William Penn Way becomes 10th St. Convention Center straight ahead.

I-76 E (Turnpike) to Exit 28 Cranberry. Follow signs to I-79 S to I-279 S across Ft. Duquesne Bridge to 10 th Street Bypass. Convention Center located on the right.
