Where Past is Present!

The Console Tournament Series is a full schedule of video game competitions held at Replay FX! This series of competitions is played on a wide variety of different games ranging from favorite retro classics to the newest modern offerings from major manufacturers. Details for each competition will be available at the Console Lounge desk, and the price to enter each competition is free with the price of admission!  Come ready to play!

Every Day: 11am-4pm

You haven’t played Mario Kart until you’ve done it with twelve of your friends on twelve linked Nintendo Switch Consoles, each with its own dedicated 50-inch TV side-by-side-by-side-by…. well, you get the picture! (all twelve of them)

Grab a group of friends and join us for some Mario Kart madness. Tournament brackets will run every day with prizes!

Every Day: 11am-4pm

You played it as a kid. You probably died of dysentery. A LOT. Don’t worry, so did everyone else. Growing up, the Oregon Trail was often of the first video games used in school computer labs and on classic computers as both a form of entertainment and a learning tool alike.

But Replay FX is turning the Oregon Trail into an in-game speedrun, with the most challenging farmer setup to start! Try to make it through the Oregon Trail with the fastest in-game date of completion time to win. Hunt, shop, and try to survive, but don’t take too long to do it!

Thursday: 7pm

Drawing inspiration both from classic competitive fighters and from free-for-all casual games, Power Stone 2 was the last release in one of the most innovative and beautiful series of Dreamcast games, and one of Capcom’s numerous great releases on the platform.

Offering vibrant, interactive, and unpredictable stage design, Power Stone provides for fun and exciting four player competition, enjoyable for both fighting game rookies and veterans alike. Can you collect all the stones, power up, and win?

We’ll be running Power Stone as a round-robin style tournament with players scoring points based on where they finish in each match. This will culminate with final elimination rounds to determine the top Power Stone 2 player at Replay FX!

Friday: 4pm

You’ve played GoldenEye 007 with friends for years. It was one of the first quad-screen first person shooters on the market, and even today is still played and considered one of the best console shooters ever made.

But Replay FX is going to change things up a bit. Instead of playing on a nice, roomy, expansive big screen television, Replay FX is forcing four-player deathmatches onto a 4-inch black and white television! Tiny Goldeneye is the ultimate test of your shooting skill, your sanity, or possibly both, and will determine the winner of the craziest (and tiniest) GoldenEye tournament ever played!

Friday: 7pm

Do you have the skills to be the best Madden player at Replay FX? Players can join in the single-elimination bracket for free by signing up before the tournament begins, using a standard competitive ruleset.

Pick your favorite team, run your best plays, and score fast, because your opponent will be doing the same. Make that defensive stop to change the momentum in your favor. Come out on top and win prizes!

Saturday: 12:30pm

Windjammers: Flying Power Disc, originally released in 1994, is a fast-paced “frisbee-pong” game, where the goal is simple, but succeeding is more of a challenge. Choose from six characters with ranging speed, power, and special throws. Add in six unique stages that play to the strengths and weaknesses of the specific characters, and you have a fast-paced frisbee-blasting chess match that is just as much fun to watch as it is to play!

We will use the standard Flying Power League rules for the event. The tournament will be a double- elimination bracket.

  • First to win 2 matches, each match is a best of 3 rounds.
  • Rounds are 99 seconds and 12 points.
  • Random stage for the first game.
  • Loser can counter-pick character AND stage.
  • There is no character counter-pick for the winner.
  • There is no character counter-pick for the winner.

HALO 2 4v4
Saturday: 6pm

The game that brought first person shooters online for the very first time, Halo 2 has held up over the years and is still one of the most beloved first person shooter games of its generation. Through its System Link support, gamers can continue to enjoy multiplayer competitive action, and we’re proud to offer a 4v4 tournament this year for fans of this great game.

Whether you’re a full team of four, or you need help with putting a team together, we’ll help you get linked up and ready to play a great variation of game types, maps, and settings which hearken back to the MLG competitive play of old. Even if it’s been years since you’ve played, come out and enjoy the snipes, rocket launches, and battle rifle action this great game has to offer.
